Films by Patrick Müller: analogue projection with optical sound and live music

On November 2, 2022, a very special film evening will take place in the Museum Gunzenhauser in Chemnitz: eleven poetry films by Patrick Müller will be shown in analog 16mm film projection with optical sound + the world premiere of the new Saint-Exupéry adaptation “L’hiver de l’éternité” (“The Winter of Eternity”) with live music by Ensemble C (violin, cello, vocals, piano). Uwe Rottluff (WellenVorm) plays an introduction. Film scholar Stefan Jung introduces the two Lovecraft films.

Patrick Müller, born in 1981 in Frankenberg, GDR, has made more than 40 short films, primarily with 8 and 16mm film, seeking to explore poetry within moving images. His experimental works have screened at numerous film festivals around the world and won several awards.
