Company founded around 1950 by Jacques Broïdo, sales manager of Société Pathé Frères. The equipment were manufactured in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, by Carena AG. And the sales division was located in Geneva, Switzerland, as Carena SA. They fabricated until 1967, when the firm went bankrupt.
