In 1961, Gratispool Co Ltd acquired sole rights for the supply and processing of dynachrome colour film in the UK. This film was imported from USA, marketed in 1959 by Dynacolor Corporation (Rochester, New York). In 1963 3M (Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing) acquired Dynacolor Corporation.
