Founded in 1939 in Göttingen as Isco GmbH. In 2004 it was acquired by a Swiss Investor and  it changed the name to Isco Precission Optics GmbH.

Some projectors have Isco lenses: Heurtier Monoplay Duovox or Noris Exclusiv 1000.
