The Internet is undoubtedly full of valuable resources and information. But it also shows large gaps: On the one hand, it often lacks information that is much older than the Internet itself, and which are of interest for just very few people — and on the other hand, valuable websites often simply disappear over the years for various reasons.

One example is the once carefully maintained www.super8data.com database. The domain was registered by Wittner, presumably to collect additional traffic. Unfortunately, the actual database was “forgotten” in the process.

A (static) copy of the popular super8data.com database, which contains a great deal of technical data on almost all cameras and projectors ever built.

The database is no longer maintained, but not much changes occur to these old devices…
